Install CA Certificate for Secure WiFi

Why install this certificate?
Installing the Villa College CA certificate allows your device to securely verify the WiFi network identity, protecting you from fake networks and ensuring encrypted connections to VC-Students and VC-Staff WiFi.

📱 Android Devices

⬇️ Download Certificate (Android)

1. Tap the download button above

2. Open Settings → Security → Encryption & credentials

3. Tap Install a certificate → CA certificate

4. Select the downloaded VillaCollege-CA.cer file

5. Name it: "Villa College CA"

6. When connecting to WiFi, select this certificate

🍎 iOS / iPhone / iPad

⬇️ Download Certificate (iOS)

1. Tap the download button above (opens in Safari)

2. Tap Allow → Profile will download

3. Open Settings → Profile Downloaded

4. Tap Install (enter passcode if prompted)

5. Go to Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings

6. Enable Full Trust for Villa College CA

💻 Windows Devices

⬇️ Download Certificate (Windows)

1. Click the download button above

2. Double-click the downloaded VillaCollege-CA.cer file

3. Click Install Certificate

4. Select Local Machine → Click Next

5. Select Place all certificates in the following store

6. Click Browse → Select Trusted Root Certification Authorities

7. Click Next → Finish

🖥️ Mac (macOS)

⬇️ Download Certificate (Mac)

1. Click the download button above

2. Double-click the downloaded VillaCollege-CA.cer file

3. Keychain Access will open automatically

4. Select System keychain → Click Add

5. Find the certificate, double-click it

6. Expand Trust → Set to Always Trust

7. Close and enter your Mac password to save

⚠️ Note: You only need to install this certificate once. After installation, your device will automatically trust the Villa College WiFi networks.

✅ After Installation: Connect to VC-Students or VC-Staff WiFi. When asked for CA certificate, select "Villa College CA" or "Use system certificates". No more security warnings!
